I am going through an amazing part of life. It's scary but exciting at the same time. I have never felt so vulnerable, though. It's funny how something can make you so happy, yet so scared at the same time. I just know that it will keep going the direction it is going now as I continue to have faith in the Lord and keep His commandments. I have never been happier in my life! Wahoo!!
I went to a different Ward for Sacrament last week because I missed our new 9:00am meeting. (I know I'm a slacker :) But, after the first talk, I knew that I was supposed to be there in that moment. It's funny how the Lord directs us when we are striving to live his Gospel. I wasn't even planning to go to this particular Chapel. I just decided, last-second, that I would go to this Chapel for fun. Didn't know anyone there, but I knew once I was there that I was supposed to be there. This Sister spoke on how destiny has no room for doubt and how we must vision what we want in life. She spoke, "If we can vision it, we can accomplish it." That resonated with me as I am going through this particular part of my life. She also spoke how fear can be the stumbling-block in reaching our dreams and goals. She gave the acronym for FEAR: False Emotion Appearing Real. It just hit me how much truth that acronym held. How often we let fear rule our decisions! I made a promise to myself that I, from here-on-out, will not let the fear of something keep me from accomplishing what I desire. I recently came across this quote and it reminded me of that talk and just compounded my commitment to the idea of striving for my full potential in life.
