Singin' in the Rain :)

So I auditioned for Singin' in the Rain last night and this morning! The tapping last night was for freakin' pros, and I just faked it with a cheesy grin...haha! Today's audition was much better, I sang Ka-Ra-Zy For You, from Crazy For You. Then, they had me sing Singin' in the Rain, and read for Donald Lockwood! I'm excited, we'll get the verdict Monday, possibly Tuesday.
Darkness Seek!!!
It's our new game. A version of Hide-n-seek, but in complete darkness...in Shella's basement...it's very creepy and fun!!!
Claire, Shella and I carved pumpkins thursday, it was quite fun! Mine is creepily cool! It's kind of a skeleton face...it's perty cool! I put pumpkin guts all over Shella and Claire....I thought that was fun! Muwahaha! (:

Odd Man Out
Our fancy little quartet had our premier performance at Hurricane Intermediate School this last Thursday. We sang Change the World, and Silhouettes. It was perty fun! After we were done singing, Claire and Shella had to leave for a meeting they were late for. I noticed that they walked down a different hall so I scurried down to the choir room where their purses were, and hid behind a wall. They took like FOREVER!!! Anyways, they walked in and I spooked thems perty good! Shella made this screechy noise that nobody could ever duplicate!!! It was hilarious!! Claire just jumped and made her weird breathing sounds!

Scary African Movie!
Ok, Claire i'm sorry but that movie didn't even have "funny" potential. I tried to go along with it for about....ten seconds and then ya lost me. I will give you this, it could have been very informative about the African...heritage...except for the naked part haha. Tonight we attempted to watch a movie that Claire brought if you didn't catch that. We started to learn our new song called "Every Breath You Take," they all call it the "stalker song," but I just think it's some guy watching over his girlfriend or somethin', either way it's a cool song. We have Change the World memorized now and a pretty cool ending, so if you haven't heard us sing it let us come over or call us and we'll sing to you over speaker phone :)
Last night Shella and I went to Claire's house and watched a movie. We almost went on a night hike somewhere by her house but I fell asleep during the movie. It rained all saturday. At Les Miserables it rained really really hard from the wedding scene on which is almost the end until the end of the show. It was really heavy rain so we had to take off our wigs. The crowd was awesome; after each scene they cheered REALLY loud. It was probably the best and most memorable show i'll have for a long time. If you haven't seen the show go see it!!! There are only two weeks left! It's an awesome experience to be in this show because this is the first time the rights have been released, and they are being restricted once again because a broadway cast is taking it back on tour....the moral of that story was COME SEE LES MISERABLES at Tuacahn Amphitheater.

Life is good!!
I've just been reminded that life is good! I was apart of a benefit concert about a week ago for a kid that I worked with this summer at the childrens theater. He has a rare form of cancer, and is going through chemo right now. It just reflects how fragile life is; how important it is to be in the moment and always be true to yourself. Friends are really important, and most of all family. I probably don't tell my family and friends that I love them as much as I should so...I love you guys!!!! I'm thankful for all the great things in my life. It's said in a song that people come into our lives for a reason, and that it's our job to learn the lesson that they have for us. Everyone...thanks for your friendship! I love you all! And that is my feel good moment for the day haha :)

Big River!
Tonight Shella, Claire and I went to see Big River at Tuacahn. It was a really fun show! The flooded stage was pretty much awesome!!! It was fun to be with my good friends. Afterwards, we went to Shella's house and sang some new songs that I bought from JW Pepper. I bought four songs: Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, a cool a cappella christmas medley, Change the World, and the one I can never remember the name of haha...well it's a cool a cappella song :)
This last weekend my family came down from up north to visit. My aunt and uncle Lindstrom...that sounded weird haha. It was really fun having them down. The kids have lots, and lots of energy, and I decided that I am adopting at about 16-17...just kidding, but I know I will definitely be learning patience, patience, patience, and more patience. Oh, and I still have to get Danielle back for punching me in the shnaaz (nose) fighting for the remote. So, Danny........watch your back! :D
